Being Caribou

In 2003 Karsten and Leanne followed 120,000 caribou (Porcupine Herd) on their annual migration from the central Yukon to the coastal plains of the Alaska's Arctic National Wildlife Refuge to raise awareness about threats to their ancient birthing grounds. Five months on foot with the herd has informed and shaped the pairs lives ever since.  Watch the film here.  Learn more about the book here.
